One of the local churches hosted a Compassion International exhibit
recently, and the kids and I got tickets to attend. There were several
trailers set up so that we could put on headphones to hear stories as we
walk through different rooms and learn about how children live in some
other countries. We went through all three of the tours. First, we
headed to "Entebbe, Uganda" -- even though it was set up, they did a great job
capturing the city sounds and sights that I remember from my trip. The
only things missing were layers upon layers of dusty dirt everywhere...
and the smells that I can't even describe (not always bad, just
different.)
Our next trip was through a town in India, and our last was through a village in Bolivia.
